If you’re a regular follower of this site, you know that I’m doing a series of posts about things to do in specific cities with kids this summer. Over the next few weeks I’ll highlight lots of major cities across the US. Not only are these great resources
if you live in these areas, but they’re also perfect for travel.
Denver, Colorado is an awesome place to live (or visit) with children. Beyond the beautiful landscape, the city has TONS to offer! In fact, I had a hard time narrowing this list down to just 20. The city is very family friendly and offers a diverse list of activities.
Though there are hundreds of awesome options, here are my top 20 things to do with kids in Denver this summer:
- Downtown Aquarium
- Children’s Museum
- Elitch Gardens
- Denver Zoo
- Firefighters Museum
- Carousel of Happiness
- Museum of Science and Nature
- Colorado Railroad Museum
- Colorado Rockies Baseball Game
- Botanic Gardens- Moredecai Children’s Garden
- Littleton History Museum
- Platte Valley Trolly
- Water World
- Washington Park
- Wings Over The Rockies Air and Space Museum
- Hey PB&J Food Truck
- Dinosaur Ridge
- Heritage Square
- The Butterfly Pavilion
- United States Mint
**All of the activities listed are within a 1 hour driving radius of Downtown.**
