First of all- HAPPY NEW YEAR!

As always, I’m incredibly excited to start a new year. However, I can’t quite close the door on 2017 without taking one last look back. As I mentioned in my last post, the year exceeded all of my expectations. We were blessed with amazingly generous sponsors and so many fantastic travel opportunities.

The grand tally is in, and our family ended the year having visited 19 states and 3 countries. I lost track of how many miles we put on my car, and how many nights we spent the night somewhere other than our house. But, I can say without a doubt, the memories we made will last a lifetime.

Brent and I tried to ask the kids about some of their favorite memories. The conversation was absolutely hysterical. In a matter of 5 minutes Mary Grace and Miller rehashed at least 100 crazy travel moments. How they were able to jump from driving a carriage down the streets of Killarney in Ireland, to losing a tooth in Times Square in New York, to standing on Shell Island in Hilton Head South Carolina, to throwing up on the “Welcome To Maine” road sign is beyond me. But they managed to remember the most random events of our travel!

Here’s a little re-cap video of our 2017:
