The 4th of July is easily one of my favorite holidays of the year. There’s truly nothing better than parades, patriotism and late night fireworks. Throw in summer temperatures and days off work- and it’s the perfect combination of fun!
Our family doesn’t have a set 4th of July tradition. We’ve celebrated in big cities such as Atlanta, Chicago, and Charlotte. We also spent a few in the small town of Faith, North Carolina. Faith boasts one of the largest parades in the country! And, we often find ourselves at the beach on the holiday. There is truly nothing better than watching a fireworks display over the water.
In my opinion, as long as there are fireworks involved- it’s a perfect celebration. Throw in some great food, and a parade…and that’s just icing on the cake!
All across America big cities and small towns alike will all celebrate Independence Day. There are so many great places to spend the day; however, here are a few lists of what people consider to be the best.
And, of course, you can always spend the 4th of July in the very first city to ever celebrate Independence Day- Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Where is your favorite spot to celebrate the 4th of July?
