Just in case you’ve missed the announcements: Mom With A Map is preparing for a book launch!
Our new book, Cricket Catches The Travel Bug releases March 2020.
I’ve received a few questions and messages about the book, so I wanted to take an opportunity to answer them in a post. I also have some articles coming out this spring detailing the book writing process and a few “how-to” questions I’ve received. But this one will be a quick one about the launch of Cricket.
All the burning questions about Cricket’s Book Launch…
Where can I get a copy of the book?
You have lots of options! Here are a few national brands carrying it:
*If your favorite local bookstore is not carrying it, I would love for you to request it!
How soon will I receive my copy if I pre-ordered?
I have been told stores can begin filling orders for books up to a month before the official release date. Unfortunately, it is not up to me or my publisher when stores begin shipping. The official release date is March 24th so you should have your pre-order copies by then.
Where will you have book signing events?
I have several signing events lined up this spring and more to come. Follow Mom With A Map on social media for specific dates and locations. I’d love to see you at an event!
Is the book for sale at all of your events?
Yes, the book will be available at all of my events. Or if you’ve purchased elsewhere, you are welcome to bring your book and I’d love to sign it.
What happens if I love the book so much that I want to review it?
That would be awesome! Please do.
Amazon is one of the easiest ways to do that, if you have an account. All you need to do is log on, search for Cricket Catches The Travel Bug, scroll to the bottom and click “Write a Customer Review.”
When will future Travel Bug Tale books be available?
Soon! Book number 2 is currently with Jami Owen, my illustrator. I’ve seen some previews and it’s going to be awesome! Cricket will join her family on a beach vacation.
I am so grateful for everyone’s support and very excited to see Cricket Catches The Travel Bug on bookshelves. And, more importantly, in kiddos hands!
Here’s another sneak peak:
Can’t wait for you to see the rest! If you have any more questions about the book launch or publishing process, I’d love to answer them. Reach out to me on social media or through an email to email@example.com
