Happy Halloween!

I am a total sucker for traditions. I love them. And I do everything possible to create them and make them memorable for my children.

I think that’s one of the reasons I love Halloween so much. It’s wedged in a busy season between back-to-school and the Thanksgiving/Christmas holidays. But it incorporates everything fabulous about fall!

Here are a few of my favorite October/Halloween traditions:

Raking may not be very fun- but jumping in leave piles is the best!

Obligatory cute picture with the pumpkins!

To-date, my favorite set of Halloween costumes!

Always a fun (and messy) night carving pumpkins.

New Recipe- Bacon Roasted Pumpkin Seeds. Can you ever go wrong adding bacon?

So that’s just a little glimpse into why I love this holiday so much! I hope you have a very Happy Halloween with your family!

PS. I just saved the Bacon Pumpkin Seed Recipe to my Pinterest under the board “Holiday Recipes.” (If you aren’t already following Mom With A Map on Pinterest, follow this link to connect.)

If you’re like me and you’re already getting excited about Thanksgiving, be sure to check out this incredible Ice Cream Infused Sweet Potato recipe I posted last year! It’s a “must” for any Thanksgiving menu!
