It’s already November, so do you know what that means? Yes, that’s right. Christmas is NEXT MONTH. That’s a mere 46 days. In other words, less than 7 weeks away!
I have a love/hate relationship with Christmas shopping. What I mean by that is I love to shop and I love to give gifts. But I also stress about the perfect gift for everyone on my list. I enjoy finding special gifts that show a lot of effort and thought. I put a ton of pressure on myself to not just buy a gift to give, but to find something the recipient will truly love. I spend hours searching online for a gift that will blow the recipient off their feet, I look at anything from pots and pans to Tag Heuer watches for sale.
I also struggle with the intentions behind the gifts. I want my gifts to say I care and that I’ve put thought into my purchase. My inner circle of gift recipients truly need for nothing, which makes the struggle all the more difficult.
I will likely never have a beat on the hottest gift of the season. Nor will I ever be ahead of the holiday gift trends or even pretend to know the universally perfect gift. However, I do know travel products. Every Friday I feature my favorite travel products on my website. Going back and searching through my “Friday Favorites” is a great resource for some awesome products for travelers.
But, if you’re like me, sometimes it’s easier to have a little list that cross-references some awesome gift categories. So, for the traveler, the traveler’s family and the want-to-be travelers, here are a few of my top holiday gift ideas:
Best Overall- Family Membership to Something: This is a phenomenal gift because it will literally be enjoyed all year. Additionally, most zoos, aquariums and theme parks have reciprocal programs that allow travelers to visit other similar locations for free or a significant discount.
Best Kid Gift- Little Passports Subscription: My children have absolutely loved receiving their little passports adventure every month. This is also a gift that give all year, and how fun is it to get mail?!? Various Little Passport products span the age range from 3 to 9+. Visit this link to shop the different options: give the gift of adventure.
Best Adult Male Gift- Yeti anything: In our house we’re obsessed with our Yeti products. We started out with just the tumblers (featured here) and now we’ve branched out to all products Yeti. I guarantee no one will be disappointed when they unwrap a Yeti. And, I’m also convinced you can never have too many!
Best Adult Female Gift- LuLaRoe: It hasn’t been that long since I discovered these amazing clothes. And now I can’t live without them. One thing that makes this a fabulous gift- no awkward size mistakes. Since they come in either “one-size” or “tall and curvy” it’s pretty easy to guess the right fit. Visit this link to learn more about the incredible clothes!
Best Stocking Stuffers: Okay, I can’t narrow it down to just 1. But, the beauty of “stocking stuffers” is that you’ll need a few. Here are a few of my favorites: Paint By Sticker, Water Wow!, Kidz Bop CD, and the States And Capitals Book.
Best Grandparent Gift- The Stair Barrier: This makes an incredible gift IF you have young kids and travel to a grandparents house. Assuming most grandparents have long since removed the safety devices in their own home, and have no desire to put fresh holes in the wall to accommodate a baby gate, the Stair Barrier is the perfect solution. These are just a few of my favorites for travelers. What is on your wish list this holiday season? Is there anyone on your list that you struggle to find the perfect gift for each year?
