Where To Go For Spring Break

On Monday I shared a list of 5 places NOT to go for Spring Break. So- as not to ever discourage travel- today I want to share a list of where TO go for Spring Break.

It’s no coincidence that as I type this post I sit staring out at the snow and dreaming of somewhere warmer. Yesterday our Southern snow was fun. My kids had a blast building snowmen and sledding for hours. But today, it’s just cold and icy. I’m ready for warmth, sunshine, and possibly the beach!

Pure joy on these kiddos faces!

As I warned in my other post about Spring Break, if you plan to head to the beach- you’ll need to make sure you’re going far enough South. Spring can be unpredictable. There’s nothing worse than ending up at the beach during a cold snap with nothing to do!

There’s also a lot of other great Spring Break destinations besides beaches. I’m a big fan of exploring cities, or even kicking back in a cabin. Spring Break is a great opportunity to explore new places, relax…or, my personal favorite- a combination!

Here is a list my favorite 20 family destinations for Spring Break:

  1. Disney Cruise
  2. San Diego, CA
  3. Chicago, IL
  4. San Antonio, TX
  5. New York City, NY
  6. Beaches Turks & Caicos
